CPU3D Review: Abit AX78 Motherboard (AMD 770) Using AMD's 770 chipset, Abit AX78 is aimed at the mainstream/budget market. It's compatible with all AM2/AM2+ processors, and offers support for DDR2 ram and Hyper Transport 3.0 technology. We put it through the test and compare this chipset against its other sibblings ... the AMD 790FX and the AMD 780G chipsets.
"After taking a quick look at the Abit AX78, I thought that it was a good all-rounder. For an AMD 770 based motherboard, it performs just below the AMD 790FX, and produced results as expected from a mainstream chipset." Read the rest of the review ... HERE.
