Right here at i33!  We managed to catch up with Team CoolerMaster one of the biggest operating clans competing in some of the many events here at Newbury!  We managed to talk to K'bOY one of the founding members of team Coolermaster on what he thinks of i33 and to tell us a little more about his team!

Team Coolermaster Interview

Winston: Who runs the Coolermaster Team? ... And when was Team Coolermaster established?

K\'bOY: Whitley and I manage and run the whole team. The actual Team Coolermaster was established in 2006, but we've been playing as a team since 2005.

Winston: Tell us more about your team and what games you specialise in.

K\'bOY: We play a lot of Counterstrike Source and COD4. In fact, we are extremely good with COD4 and we tend to win a lot of cups and tournaments playing COD4.

Winston: Who's actually playing what in this year's i33 event?

K\'bOY: Well, we have several team leaders this year. For Counterstrike Source, we have "Nayden". He's heading the Counterstrike players. Then we have "Gifty" ... he's leading the COD4 team from Europe, and we also have "Rapture" ... he's team leader for the COD4 players in the UK.

Winston: How many players in total do you have for this year's i33 event?

K\'bOY: In total including all the managing staff ... approximately 25.

Winston: How old is your youngest and oldest player ... and what games do they play?

K\'bOY: Well, our youngest is 16 and our oldest is 24. All play Counterstrike Source and COD4.

Winston: Your team must be very good ... do they practice a lot?

K\'bOY: Yes, we have schedules each week for team pactice ... on average each player will probably spend 30-25 hours of gaming practice.

Winston: How do you rate your team in terms of Counterstrike Source and COD4 competitions and standings?

K\'bOY: I have to say ... I think we are at less  top 10 when it comes to Counterstrike Source. For COD4, I reckon we are easily top 5. Our COD4 players are extremely good. I've lost count on how many tournaments and cups we've won.

Winston: Which team have you played so far? ... Fancy going against Fnatic or Team-Dignitas?

K\'bOY: Actually we've just had a game with Team-Dignitas ... it was a draw. Our teams were very evenly matched. We haven't played with Fnatic as yet ... I'm hoping we will be drawn against them next.
